Radio-shack Electronics Learning Lab

practice "Cabalos Blancos" from Gipsy Guitar

Here are the boys from Lebanon (well - there will probably also played flamenco guitar), I totally forgot. They are cool on it. They play Caballos Blancos from Gipsy Guitar . I think the DVD I'm going down soon, again. When I listen to the guys and watch it itches me totally in the fingers, these Rumba immediately to play with others.

The associated text must be mentioned here on YouTube also observed: a rumba by Gerhard Graf-Martinez. Bassam on lead. Karim with the strumming pattern from hell! :)

18 Month Old Head Bump With Fever

re flamenco guitar ...

So - now I have more time to hopefully play guitar. About getting started in the second volume, that is, Chapter 6, I can not say much because I am currently rumquäle with the first exercises. In two weeks, then more.
Looking like it was made for others who are concerned with the Flamenco guitar method by RCD, or to learn, I was once in YouTube the keywords 'Graf Martinez' one - and lo! There are a surprising number of the world who are learning by the method 'of our flamenco teacher' flamenco guitar. Not everyone I would recommend to place his strumming to the world available, but it's rather nice to see how the international guitar (learning) the world of Andalusian music of a German taught, understood and practiced.

Besides the fact that I will not mention all the video posts here, maybe not all have found is amazing that Rumbita 1 and 2 is presented most often. Quite often the Bulerias be heard. See and hear for yourself:

is very well represented Elena from Hungary (not only with flamenco) and "Mr. bebopguitar "

Rumbita

Sole

Singles / Tangos

tremolo

Joy

BulerĂas
Mr. "Bebopguitar" has it pretty well on it. His rasgueo like it very much. On a Flamenca it would probably sound pretty darn good.

Tarantas
something "crazy" I think the environment in which he plays. A true guitar freak.

Garrotin
Very nice - I have to practice a bit longer

.

Pulgar exercise

This post takes a very long load times, since all the vids are pulled by YouTube. Sorry - is not different, rather, I do not know otherwise. If you want to see the videos larger, then simply click the YouTube logo at the bottom right. information, but with security - gaining information day at the University of Klagenfurt

On Tuesday, 31 March 2009, the Institute of Applied computer science - system security offered (University of Klagenfurt), a series of lectures on the theme of "Information Security". The 4th and 5th classes of network engineering department were accompanied by five professors with it.

After a welcome by Prof. Dr. Horst showed us this in a lecture, as before encryption was used (c. 1500 BC).. He led us through the centuries up to date used cryptographic algorithms.

The second lecture was also Dr. Horster about "attacks on secure systems." He spoke mainly about the security of chip cards. Since we now enforce various attack techniques such as error reading time dependencies, read internal states to manipulate internal states, microprocessor contact directly, etc. at their disposal, the view has changed. Chip cards are no longer considered tamper-proof, they are still influenced by the environment and their information leave the map. The instructor led several Facilities - eg freezing of memory, reverse engineering, micro-probes, analysis of current consumption, fake a fingerprint, attaching a card reader at a teller machines - at, can be cracked by what date (secure) systems.
said the last presentation of the first session Ing Wigoutschnigg on social networks such as StudiVZ or Facebook. He called us students to do more to ensure that we share information on the Internet, go there at sites like Archive.org not this data is lost and thus always available to everyone. After a few fun statistics, we were released as a free lunch.
The first lecture the second session was held in the afternoon by engineer Peter Gruber on "The Network Security Wheel." This process is repetitive describes four phases, which increase the security of a network.
  1. Secure: In this phase to initialize security measures and implemented. This need to reflect on the subject Firewall (Where and what?) Authentication of users (how?), Encryption (What data? Which algorithm?) And others are made.
  2. Monitor: This monitors the effectiveness of the measures. For this offer, among other log files, network intrusion detection system Netflow statistics.
  3. review: The implemented security measures to be tested. It will be using scanners, security tools, security, web sites, etc. looking for weak points of the network.
  4. Improve: The information obtained in the previous phases will be developed enhanced security measures.
example: Internet access at home via Wi-Fi.
1st Phase: The WEP encryption enabled as
2nd Phase: Monitoring shows that someone else mitbenĂĽtzt access
Phase 3: Hacking's own APs
4.Phase: WEP is by EPAs will be replaced
1st Phase: WPA is activated
2nd Phase: There are still co-users
.... His previous day ended
have the instructor with the slogan "Security is never done".
The second lecture in the afternoon was then "Writing Secure Code", where DDipl. Ing Rass tried drumming into us that we are not the performance of our software will increase at the expense of safety.

The last lecture was given by Ass Prof. Dr. Schartner on the safety aspects of digital images. He presented a project of students, are provided in which captured photos with EXIF data, verified that each time may be, whether it is the original or a different picture. Each manipulation is documented and can be traced.

We hereby would like to thank you for the interesting presentations and the friendly hospitality at the participating members of the Institute.

LinuxDay Uni-Klagenfurt: Stand "Conexion"

The IT department (Network Engineering) of the HTL Villach was represented at the LinuxDay 2009 by Patrick Kodal and Andreas Stocker from the class 5BHITN. The two presented their program "Conexion " before.

This program is designed to manage Bluetooth adapter on a Linux machine and make connections with other Bluetooth devices. The software was developed privately by Andreas Stocker and used for presentation of a open source program for the LinuxDay.

Many members of the Open Source scene were interested in the program. The presentation of the program consisted of a practical part, were able to test those interested in the function and from a variety of posters with images of the structure of the application. The interest was surprisingly great and so was at the end of the day a positive balance can be drawn.

How Do Know If Its A Real Ruby

4AHITN at Raiffeisen Capital Management and United Nations headquarters in Vienna

The successful participation of a team of 4AHITN on Stock Market Investor 08 "was the reason for the trip to Vienna 4AHITN. At a workshop The company Raiffeisen Capital Management has been practiced in practice. A tour of the United Nations headquarters brought interesting things about the "United Nations" for the students.

'stock prices, profits, losses, stocks, funds, investments, "... issues that we are because of an Austria-wide lottery were the Raiffeisen Bank deal about five months. The very attractive prize money of 1000 € encouraged each of us in Economics and Law "theoretical skills learned in practice to prove to ask. Optimistic all participants gambled with their seed money, (in the class was often due to unexpected falling stock cursed and discussed ) and finally we reached a surprise second place and fourth place in Carinthia in Austria. The winner of two in the IT department participating classes (over Austria there were over 400 classes that participated), drove the 4 AHITN with Prof. Aigner and Prof. Buzzi for two days from Vienna to spot a more accurate picture make the Raiffeisen bank to.

travelogue
Monday 16 March 2009:
meeting at 6.40 clock Villach Central Station, an inhuman time for some, an exciting start for the trip to Vienna for the others. After a four-hour train ride (which for some lasted far too long and thus probably just came up with the idea to start an unnecessary maths lesson with our teacher), we finally reached the capital and made our the way to our hotel. After a short rest we went even further to the central office of Raiffeisen Capital Management (RCM), which was scheduled in the afternoon a guide for us. By a constant stream of expected by the speeches of the speakers was nothing to see, provided was a "participation of the afternoon all students through active teamwork".

After some grumbling and murmuring divided all worked in teams, upbeat and committed to creating a new marketing concept for a fictitious mutual funds ... in mind, of course, the delicious buffet, which we anticipated eagerly and with growling stomachs. Back the hotel decided the class, the Vienna Nightlife disturbing to leave it end of the evening and celebrate our well-deserved victory.

Tuesday 17 March 2009
From 8:30 clock a full breakfast in the form of a buffet was provided. Following this, should start at 10 clock a tour of the United Nations headquarters. This was delayed somewhat due to the large crowds before the metal detector. The group leaders are tried for the leadership of some basic things about the United Nations to teach and was also visibly pleased at the end did as well the majority of us to put what they noticed. The guide lasted until shortly after 12, and then we had some time to move freely through Vienna. At 13:30 clock we met at the hotel and marched off to Vienna South Station. Here are the last train tickets were purchased and, shortly before half past three we then broke again for a four-hour train ride to Villach.
In the name of the class we want to thank Professor Aigner, which allowed us to experience these wonderful two days.

Visiting EDP centers

What about in a computerized central data center or an Internet provider? What hardware is available there? As the network structure is built?

students of the IT department had the opportunity to make a picture of it. Here is a brief report: On 5
February 2009 started the day for the 5 and 5 AHITN BHITN HTL Villach with a presentation by two employees of the company HappyNet. This interesting presentation included information about the company HappyNet itself and its responsibilities. After all questions were answered and our curiosity was satisfied, she went with a rented bus to a central office. Great were the expectations to be found a room full of technical equipment. We saw her for the time being only a small chamber with a switch and Anklemmstellen for the cables leading to the customer in near Villach floodplains. We then went on to
Klagenfurt for Kelag location where we could look at a large server room in the basement of the building. Declarations of HappyNet employees accepted and valuable information about the infrastructure has brought us closer. Since we had to digest all this information, we took a break and allowed us an hour in Klagenfurt employ free.

When we had filled our stomachs and we again reinforced by the break, came back, we went into the Raiffeisen data center in order to obtain subsequently an introductory lecture on the IT department of the bank and then we join a tour of the building. Visited the printing house, the high-performance computer server rooms and some were were also housed in the basement.
It was an exciting day with many interesting insights. Thank Happynet cooperative Carinthia for the opportunity offered.

talk of the company Homefibre

Optical Solutions for Home Networks offers the company Homefibre , winner of the Innovation and Research Award of Carinthia, 2008, on this fast growing market.
To this was interesting future topic is a fascinating lecture to our students.

On 03 March 2009 our department was interesting visit: Two employees of the company Homefibre (Josef Faller by management and our graduate Manuel El Tohamy informed), students and pupils of the fourth and fifth graders on a new method of data transmission, the copper may be replace in the near future. POF (Polymer Optical Fibre ) called the new technology to be transferred to the data by using light waves.

The POF technology has many advantages, such as: the simple installation of the cable parallel to electrical installation, stability and low power consumption. In addition, the transfer is radiation-free and bug-proof.

The lecture was for the students a perfect complement and knowledge in the practical demonstration amazed even the teachers.

would take this opportunity to thank the entire IT department of the team homefibre for this really interesting talk.
