Sorry for my absence in recent weeks, but I have (had) to learn learn learn. Now it goes to a close - ¡gracias a Dios! and I can finally play flamenco guitar. Last week I got the first time the German Flamenco magazine ¡anda! in hand. The cover, on which the inside of a guitar top is shown, suggests that, with this issue, as in the preface read is all about the topic flamenco guitar .
Two issues, more specifically, interviews, as already announced on the front page, with Paco de Lucía and Gerhard Graf-Martinez interested me, of course, burning. Further contributions to the history of the flamenco guitar, and the difference with classical guitar thing is done from Graf-Martinez 'publications and his, as well as from many other flamenco guitar sites. The Refreshing on Paco interview is that it is not in one, as we know it from the usual guitar-Acoustic-Electric Pipapo-newspapers, advertising call of the Guitar Heros or What equipment-used-du-questions opens. No - the interviewer, their respect and nervousness before an interview with the great Paco de Lucía, you can really empathize with the master, elicits in the few minutes they had available, interesting comments and opinions. It is notable that the two interviewees expressed similar concerns regarding the future of our planet. The fact that musicians comment on, so have a political opinion, the flamenco guitar scene makes the same sympathetic to some. Sad to learn that the greatest flamenco guitarist of all time with almost 60 years starting a little power. For us boys, it is hardly understandable and sixty for I personally damn old. If I Don Paco that I could not do in the first live concert, with one of my neighbors, compare the times just a few years older, I can only say "hello" .
About Graf-Martinez some things to learn, but little current. The title "A Life with the flamenco guitar" has already pointed out that flamenco, the instrument and his way of giving the flamenco guitar playing on, not just once was a stage in life, but quite a lot of commitment and passion behind it. Health, not even the youngest, it has it really bad with his back, caught the discs. Demand but also by his teachers as he came to the decision making of flamenco a "professional" musicians who have influenced him. Interesting is his answer to the question of what it abturnt in flamenco, what fascinates him about the flamenco guitar and that it is not always crucial for the string artistry and virtuosity of a musician is high. For more information, are that he himself has built guitars. Cool and right, I think, at least, his attitude, or opinions of development not only in flamenco, but in general the music. This
(see flamenco Gitarre.de ) and much more about the Flamenco guitar , an interview with a flamenco guitarist from Cadiz, on Chicuelo in the latest issue of ¡anda! read .
