Hi, I'm Sarah. Welcome to the Daily English Show.

Today is our first show at Acadia University. And our guest today is an Acadia student. And also our first Chinese guest.
His English name is Allen. And I will also try to pronounce his Chinese name Wu Xue Heng. Here he says to himself: Wu Xue Heng.

Allen has been studying for a year at Acadia.
The first thing I asked him was why he chose this University had decided.

When I was in high school to which most of my teachers from Canada.
And my manager is from Nova Scotia. And they ... ah, put this university before me. And he says there is a ... very good university, which is good for students to learn basic skills. And, and for high school students, they are one ... they come into an environment for such as these, Nova Scotia, Wolfville. They get used quickly in the environment. It's a really friendly place.

Sarah How do you find Acadia?

Allen Well, I actually like this place very much because when I get to an airport, the environment here is very good. Ah, such as lakes, forests and ... ah, with a small town in a nice island. And I like Acadia, because the people in here are very friendly. And most of smile when you walk along the street. And the ... the whole place with the students ... the students have such a book in the hand and walk down the street and talk about the lessons they have. That is why I like this place very much.

Sarah it is very different from your hometown?

Allen Yes, teach the technology, and the type with which we, the way the teachers their students is completely different. In China it is merely in order to write tests or an examination. But the, ah, Acadia, I mean in Canada, is the school, why is teaching the students about their to teach skills and try to give the students their knowledge so that they can integrate into society.

Sarah What is the hardest thing in English?

Allen Ah, actually I hate grammar. And I think my ability to read is a. .. is lowest on the level. And my speech or writing ability is ... not bad.

Sarah How do you make learning fun?

Allen Well, I always imagine that with this level of English I k. .. what I can achieve and what do I know with my friends and communicate with students from, from different countries. And that makes me very exciting.

Sarah you have many friends here closed?

Allen Yes, ah, most are from Asia, ie Japan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.

Sarah What are your plans for the future?
